     In Memoriam...

Kevin McGinn

Kevin McGinn a Shodan in Kam Lung Kempo Karate passed away suddenly on March 29th just moments after completing his black belt test. He was an instructor and mentor and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Kevin began with the association in 1994 and achieved black belt status after many years of hard work and dedication. A disciplined student and instructor, Kevin demonstrated all of the qualities of a leader. His dedication and work ethic was an example for all those around him.

Kevin also was the creative force behind the association’s new website and did much of the IT support for the organization. He spent countless personal hours working for the association and could always be counted on to fix a computer or do anything that could be done to make the organization better.

A friend and member of the black belt family, he will be greatly missed both as a colleague and friend.

A great husband and father, Kevin is survived by his wife Jennifer and sons Nathan and Kyle.
